33/365: “Take the Long Way Home” by Supertramp
I have a day job but I’m a for-hire-DJ too. I’ve done weddings. I’ve done bar mitzvahs. I’ve done Havana Nights themed 60th birthday parties. Tomorrow I am doing my first corporate event. It’s an all day affair and from what I know about the president of the company, dude loves some 70s & 80s classic rock. Opportunities to play the likes of Foreigner, Bob Seger, and Supertramp for a captive audience don’t often present themselves but tomorrow I seize the day. I’ll be playing tunes for the better part of 12 hours tomorrow and I’m taking the long way home. If you’re going to sell out, emphatically sell out with style.
