Sure, it’s only February but Japandroids’ feverish third album Near To The Wild Heart Of Life is already a strong contender for 2017 Album of the Year honors. The eponymous lead track is a hot-blooded bar rock anthem that makes me want abandon the concept of day jobs forever and start a very loud rock & roll band.
